I had a Electrical Management system- (EMS) LCHW50 installed several years ago at the Workhorse Rally in Myrtle Beach, SC. It recently saved some of my equipment- For the second time- !
The first encounter with faulty voltage was last summer in coastal Maine when my unit kept shutting down because of low voltage. There were four RV's using one power feed off of a Maine Power pole. It turned out to be a badly corroded (internally) service panel. It required a new sevice panel to be installed by the owner of the RV park. I was the only RV (of the four) with an EMS detecting this problem.
The second incident was last week at a beautiful RV park in Quantico VA. At 3am, I was awakened by my EMS cycling on and off. I went outside to my electrical bay, where the EMS is hard wired into my system. I saw 130v show up, on one leg of the 50 amp service, and then shut down. It kept cycling like this. I added my 30 amp adapter, and switched to the 30 amp feed, and all was well for the rest of the night. The next morning a service man came by, at my request, and told me that a contractor had just rewired the entire park over the winter. He was going to get the contractor to fix the problem. (Probably by lowering the voltage coming off a nearby transformer). I left the park before I learned about the outcome.
Thanks Progressive- for possibly saving some of my rigs electrical equipment, It has worked great for me .

That is the classic sign of a problem with the "neutral" leg of the park's electrical service.

Howdy!
When we purchased our EMS system it was some of the best money spent. It has saved us on several occasions. The thing I hate the most is the response of the RV park / campground when we advised them of a problem. We've had our shut down the power on several occasions due to high voltage. Almost all of them respond that we're the only ones complaining. Most don't have a clue about their power system. We would not have and RV without a Progressive EMS system.

We have had the Progressive EMS for 6 years and are glad we have it. It has saved us from damage from over voltage, under voltage and open neutral on several occasions. Though it is a bit aggravating to have the power go on and off when those around you who do not have an ems continue to have power. Kinda funny, I was at a rally and had several people at the seminar ask if they should turn off the Progressive EMS if it keeps shutting off the power. I even have had people say the voltage reading is wrong because their hand held voltage meter has a different reading than the Progressive EMS. Go figure.

My Progressive EMS has saved our butts at least 4 times (low power, bad ground, etc.). In addition, when I first installed it, I had a problem with the unit on a holiday weekend. I emailed the company on a Saturday morning (holiday weekend) and thinking I would receive a reply on Tuesday, I got a reply within a couple of hours, by the President of the company no less.
He talked me through a diagnostic procedure and we determined that I needed a new control board. To make a long story short, I received the new board on Tuesday (FedX overnight).
I can't say enough about this company! They have a great product and their customer service is unbelievable.

We were visiting Tiffin's plant last year in Red Bay. My permanently mounted Progressive EMS kept shutting us down because of high voltage. There was a new Zephyr parked next us with every electronic gadget in the world and he was plugged in to the same power source as we were. I can't even imagine the problems he had or will have...thank you Progressive.

Just installed ours today... WOW!!!! I feel better already! Took about 1.5 hours to hard wire install in the center bay area next to the inverter and junction box. After much research, installed on Shore Power.... that's where the real danger is.. not the generator. Don't like messing with electric "stuff", but it was really straight forward to install.
We have lots of lightening here (So. Utah) and when we go to public parks, we can be sure we're safe! Great price and free shipping from "Tweety's" It is sooooo worth the investment!!!! Don't "wait and see".... when your stuff gets fried, it's too late!
