Rand McNally In-Dash GPS Infotainment Updates
Recently purchased at 2016 Fleetwood LXE Pace Arrow DP. It has an in-dash Rand McNally GPS system which has not been updated since 2016. I have tried the Rand McNally Desktop app to update, but cannot connect the dash unit to the computer as requested by the app.
Anyone else know how to update the system?

if it is the same as the unit in our 2016 Suncruiser you need to remove the SD card and put it into an SD card reader on your PC.

I just updated our (new to us) 2014 Fleetwood Discovery 40E Infotainment system GPS by downloading (free) and installing the Rand McNally Dock software on my PC. It will require you to insert the SD card from your Infotainment system to complete installation. After installation is complete, it will update the files on the SD Card very quickly. Once completed, eject the SD Card from your PC, insert it back into the unit and start it up. It's actually pretty simple to do. I haven't tried it yet, but you can also transfer routes and POI's this way.
