I was looking at the Battery operated fan to put in the refrigerator at camping world. Will it help any?

Don't know what problems you are having, but if you place the fan at the rear, on the bottom, and leave room for air to circulate, it does its job. All it does is constantly circulate the air in the fridge so that you do not have cold and warm areas.

Indeed, a fan will help. Can tell you the fans Camping World sells can be found elsewhere for much less. Also, I encourage you to go here and read. Info there tells you how to get temps down, etc.

I have the fan and would make the purchase again. I can get the same degree of cool inside the refer with fan at a setting of one number warmer than without the fan. For me it is worth having.

It depends on what you want it to help with and if you keep your fridge packed tight. If it is packed tight and there is no room for air flow then it won't do much good. Otherwise they do help even things out and prevent items near the cooling fins from freezing up. If the kids place their soda cans right up against the cooling fins you can still have an episode which is not fun to clean up fan or no fan.

Yes it will help just do not pack all your items to close to one another or all against the back wall of fridge.
You can also install this type of fan.
If you have cooling problems you also can add a fan in lower outside vent area to get the heat out from in back of your cooling coil area.
You have had the RECALL DONE for Norcold.

I would go with the fan that FTRVR has shown. I put one of those in the 5er I previously had, and it mad a hugh difference, and NO batteries to go dead.

My frig is keeping food almost 10F cooler than without it. $18 Ebay, received in 3-4 days, easy install, low power drain. But had to isolate it from coils so it did not rattle against coils. Should have done it sooner.

Why would Norcold not recommend them? I have used the fans in both Norcold and Dometic and it does help to keep the frig temperature better. A fan on the outside helps a bunch as well.

The above link is sold out that is why there was NO buy now button. I searched and contacted seller he gave me his new fans item Number so I could buy. Seems like campers are using this fan with results. I read most of the reviews at the bottom of the ad. Looks like its feedback buyers have left him. His feed back is great so I bought one.

I will try to link it here:DOMETIC NORCOLD REFRIGERATOR FAN FOR RV 12 VOLT | eBay
