Have less than 10,000 miles and it needs kingpins. Pins are available from Roadmaster only as an assembly with the I beam and knuckle. What a rip off. I am in the business of auto and truck under the vehicle service. Put king pins in all the time. A set for this tow dolly show not cost more than $100.00. Right and left side assemblies from Roadmaster cost $661.00.

I am in the market for a new dolly. What would be a better choice than the Roadmaster?

Check out Master Tow. Ours has about 7,000 miles on it with no complaints. We have the 80THD with surge brakes.

We have a Demco KK-460, no problems with it except a cracked fender from a branch blown down in a wind storm. We have towed our Honda Ody on it with no trouble although I wouldn't want to tow anything wider. A 2011 Ody wouldn't fit as they're wider than our '05.

I doubt if Roadmaster manufactures king pins themselves, so I'll bet you could find a component from another source that would replace them. Sounds like a business opportunity for you!

We have the Demco Kar Kaddy SS and love it. A bit on the pricey side but so far I think it's worth every penny.

I purchased my Tow Dollie brand new July 2010 from ACME Tank and Trailer. It works great and the unit has disk brakes. They are located in Kernersville, NC 336-996-4396. I live in NJ my cost including tax and shipping and 1 spare tire on a rim, was $1,380.00

We have a Demco Kar Kaddy SS also and no problems at all, very well built. It is listed for sale now, but only because we bought a tandem tow dolly to haul both golf cart and Toyota Highlander. The workmanship is not as good on the tandem as the Demco, I think.

Am in the market for a tandem tow Dolley to haul motorcycles along. What manufacturer are you using?

Thanks,
H.Huester

Don't think they are that many to chose from for tandem.

Here is one
