RV Covers

Any thoughts on quality RV Covers...Goldline, ADCO Tyvek seem to be the most popular, but are there any high quality covers that folks have had better luck with than others?

RV covers are an okay idea if you are in an area where the sun beating down, is relentless. However they are not easy to put on or take off. First they are relatively heavy and cumbersome. It is not a one person job. You didn't mention what type of RV you have, but on a big class A it is a project. If it will only be on for a short time it's not worth it IMHO. For extended storage, maybe. Plus 4-5yrs is about how long they will last. I also don't like the fact that they will rub against your paint.

Good luck with your decision.

I keep my 2004 motorhome covered. Still looks great.
Bought my cover in 2006. Still using it. Has required some minor repairs over the years.
Check out CalMark Cover Company.

My experience with one several years ago. Big effort to put on/off. Making it difficult and unlikely to be used for other than long term storage. We use coach at least monthly year round so did not get used. Better: erect a RV carport if doable.

Others can comment to particular brands, features, etc.

I have a Goldline premium cover for a up to 32' 5th wheel, I used for 2 years, under an RV barn. It's still like brand new. I think I paid over $500 for it and it's for sale for $200 if interested. It won't fit on the coach so it needs to go.
