Looking for advice on the best deep cycle battery. We have a bank of 6 batteries connected to solar panels with inverter. My current batteries are 3 years old and I am thinking they need to be replaced.
Any ideas on replacements ?

I am going on 7 years with my Interstate U2200 six volt batteries and have had zero problems. Some things you will want to consider when looking for batteries; do you do a lot of boondocking? Is there a slide out tray(s) that makes checking water in the cells easy? How long are you going to keep the present coach? If you plan to keep it a long time, boondock often or checking the water level is difficult you may want to consider an AGM Absorbed Glass Mat (sealed) battery
Here are some links that will help you.

Without a doubt, Lifeline AGM's have to be one of the best.

Pricey, but they are good.

I have four 6v AGM hooked up to my Solar system. They are sold under the name of "Lifeline" for mobile applications and are made by Concourde (the same company that supplies the batteries for our Military Aircraft). These batteries are great and can lie on their sides.

Unless the batteries are showing signs of not holding their charge or usefullness, I think 3 years is a tad young. My trailer battery is a Sears 1999, yup, no typo, and still okay. During the off season, it's hooked full time to a battery minder, during the camping season it's got a measily 15 watt panel on the roof to help with the charge when not in use or being topped up by the genny/converter. At most I add about a cupful of distilled water per year. If it croaks at 10 years, it deserves a funeral.
