RV Grab Bar Foam Wrap Replacement -- Need Recommendations
I need to replace the black foam cushion wrap on our TT flip-out Grab Handles. I did a search on Amazon "rv door handle grab bar foam wrap" and found this product:
ttps://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Carlson-FP-1002-R-Foam-Grip/dp/B002YIAC6I/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=rv+door+handle+grab+bar+foam+w rap&qid=1571579926&sr=8-3
If you scroll down on the page, there are other similar products that customers have purchased for this purpose. Anyone with experience replacing the black cushion wrap on their flip-out grab handles next to entry doors with experience and recommendations on the best product to use? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Ours was splitting at the top. I removed the handle taped the foam back in place and used a large piece of heat shrink tubing to cover it. I sanded the heat shrink after shrinking it so it wasn’t slick.

I used a walking cane foam replacement on a previous entry grab handle.

Thanks, but in looking at some of those, it appears that they generally slide on, and I don't see an easy way to dismantle the attachment points of my grab bar so that one could slide on a replacement foam grip.

Thanks, I thought of that, but the pool noodle is too fat -- wouldn't let my grab handle fold flat.

Thanks. There are two different grip replacements on that page. Which one were you recommending?

Oh. That is interesting. It went on - should be a way to take off. I would think.....
my screws were hidden if I remember correctly Behind two removal pop off pieces. Search Camco 42917 fold away grab handle or equivalent.

I have sprayed mine with truck bed coating which leaves a nice textured finish. I did this on the inside handle too.
