Ok, while not exactly a "Product Evaluation" for a single product, I've found RVUpgrades.com to be FANTASTIC on any products that can be found and purchased with no hassle and no worries. I've bought quite a few items thru them, and wouldn't even consider looking elsewhere for something (unless it's one of the few things they don't offer).

Let me give you an example...
I recently got a different toad, so needed to go with a new baseplate. Debbie at RVUpgrades was more than helpful and friendly, and I got my new Blue-Ox baseplate in record-time. It was what I ordered and needed and received, and at the right price. When I called her back later to discuss different braking-system options, I happened to mention that the box for the baseplate came in a bit 'trail-worn'. Now, you gotta remember a baseplate is nothing more than a big square painted piece of 2inch steel with a few holes drilled in it, and I can readily imagine the wear and tear it would create on a cardboard box while being bounced and shipped halfway across the US, so I wasn't a bit worried about its condition - and told Debbie so. However, she immediately took it upon herself to make a note to call the shipper and tell them to do a better job next time. How about that???

Thanks,
ron

I have also had great service from RV Upgrades. I recently bought a SeeLevel II system for my rig. Ther were quick and friendly, and when they thought that they were out of stock on part of the system, they immediately sent me an e-mail. It turned out that they did get the part in time, and immediately sent another e-mail. Now THAT is service.

I would recommend them to everyone!

I too have had excellent service from RVUpgrades.com. Have purchased several items through them, including my Pressure Pro system.

I have also found RVUpgrades to be absolutely fantastic! If an item is in stock and you order by 3:00pm, the order will ship that day. They provide a tracking number by email so you know exactly where your order is. If an item is not in stock (only happened to me once out of at about a dozen orders) they will give you an expected ship date. They monitor email closely and usually answer questions within an hour or two.

rvupgrades has recently added literally thousands of items to it's online catalog and they are a corporate sponsor of iRV2.

I would encourage each of you to support our sponsors as they help support the site we all love!!

How are they price wise? Is there a discount for IRV2 members?

I can speak to that. RV Upgrades does give good prices and I've been very pleased with their response time. Take the new RV awning clip for example: it's $49.95 on the manufacturer's website, but only $42.90 at RV Upgrades...

I am not aware of any discount, but their prices seem pretty good to me. Shipping charges seem reasonable, too.

As the site says, no gimmicks. Just everyday low prices.

I have found RvUpgrades to be an excellent source with excellent prices, and I've spent a bunch of money there.

RvUpgrades was founded by Warpath, the founder of Irv2.com.

Bob, are you a part owner of RvUpgrades too?

I also think they are great to deal with...have bought 2 surge protectors from them and ordered an engine brake system, but cancelled the order a few hours later....they were extremely pleasant to talk to and verified by email that my CC had been credited within 2 hours of cancelling the order..the BEST!!

We're trying!

It's great to here all the positive feedback.

One of the priorities of RVupgrades.com is customer service and although we are not perfect we certainly make every effort to make it that way when it's not.

Another one of my pet peeves was having to join a club or having to wait until the off season to get a good price on an item. I hate sales! All a sale means to me is that a company over charges for a product other than when it is on sale. So we offer our best price 365 days a year.

Look for a 16 page short catalog by the end of January and a larger 64 page catalog due out in the early spring.
