There is a long running thread at rv.net about the SafTee system. There is a long history of non-delivery, broken promises, phone calls not being returned and now not being able to get replacement sensors.
From what I just read they also appear to have changed the name of the company.

Well, there's a new entry in my sad tale. I ordered in early February and a charge was immediately applied to my credit card. After not receiving the product I canceled in May and my credit card was credited the full amount. Then, without me noticing, they credited me again about a month later. In early July, I received a call from Todd Wessels of Saftee stating that I had received two credits. With him on the phone, I went on line to my bank and verified this to be true. To set it straight, I allowed him to place a new charge for the amount onto the card. I checked the next day and the charge was there. End of story?

NO!! Today I received a notice from a collection company representing Saftee stating that since I didn't respond to their first letter (which I hadn't received) they were pursuing collection. I also received a notice from Transunion that two new negative items have been added to my credit history. I tried to call the collection agency but only get a recording. I then tried to call the number for Saftee and it's been disconnected. I'm stuck.

Has anyone had any similar experience? Any ideas on how I should handle this?

I doubt it. I think it's a case of a small company being overwhelmed by success. I spoke to another of the principals of the business this morning and he promised to get resolution for me by tomorrow. We talked at length about the challenges they've face and I came away convinced that he's an honest man. Given the way he spoke of Todd, I'd have to make the charitable assumption that he too is honest.

Of course, there's the chance that I'm being gullible. Time will tell. I'll post an update when this gets settled.
