I guys Anyone have any pics on installing this on a 1999 Adventurer Pusher Model 34V Freightliner. The water tank is between the frame rails. I looked under it and I can see the drain valve but no access. Also does anyone know how tall this tank is. I can get to the black and gray easy and they look to be about 8 to 10 inchs tall.
It real cold and windy now so I may be able to start in the morning.
Thanks

Hi Guys. I see no one is reading this post much anymore,So I guess asking for help may not work.
Any way here we go. I was out looking at my motorhome today planing this out, and I see, I cannot get to the wires for the gray tank. The the black is fine and I have not checked the fresh yet. So now I see Iam going to have to run some wires. If Iam reading the book right I only need to run two wires because the blue ones from the sensors all tie togather. Right??
Thanks

I installed the SeeLevel # 409 about a year ago in my MH. It was a very easy job except for the fresh water tank. If I was about 100 lbs lighter it would have been a lot easier to install the sensor on the end of the tank.
It sure is nice to have accurate tank readings.

We just bought a 04 American Tradition that came factory equipped with Sea Level Gauges. What a joy!!! Gauges that actually work reliably and accurately!

Howdy Tcloud7,
Sorry I didn't catch your question earlier.
You are correct about only having to run two wires. Each sensor has a black wire and a blue wire. Since the wiring is all in parallel, you connect all the blue wires together and the black wires together. The black wires also connect to ground either at the sensor locations or back at the display panel.
I found it fairly easy to run new wiring to the tanks since there usually exists a wiring chase in the motorhome that runs from the tank locations to the one place panel. If you think about it, the OEM manufacturer had to run wires from the old sensors to the old display panel so you most likely can follow the same wiring route.
Concerning your freshwater tank, do you have access to the top of the tank from within one of the storage compartments? Our wiring for the old freshwater tank was viewable once I crawled inside the storage compartment. You may also be able to access the freshwater tank by removing the small metal panel that surrounds the drain outlet for the freswater tank.

Thanks Joe. I have posted ,How to get to the fresh water tank. I have been under the motorhome In the bays in inside the motorhome trying to find access with no luck.
I will be calling Winnebago tuesday. I just uploaded some pics. Look under Tcloud. I think Iam going to have to drop this whole tanks to get to it.
Thanks more later

It looks like your freshwater tank is setup different than ours. In your picture, the cable operated valve and drain are the same as ours on the Journey, except our valve is located inside the water tank steel cover. There is a small panel that is removable at the drain elbow which covers the drain valve.
I think a phone call to Winnebago is going to be your best course of action. Be sure to let us know how you eventually get access to the tank.

Thanks Joe for Posting that pic. I called Winne I was told that I have to drop the tank and pry the metel a part that you see in the Pic above. When its warmer I will see what I can do. When I do, do it I will make the access door Winne should have made in the first place.
I will be touring the factory next year and I will let them come and check it out.
I gould just cut into the metel, but I don't know if I would be cuting into the tank or the foam.
Thanks Tcloud
Thanks Joe
