Looks nice but it has to be bolted to the frame between the axles, meaning it, and its added weight, becomes a permanent part of the trailer. This would reduce the amount payload available.

I wonders about the stress lifting in the middle like that

Since it mounts between the axles and won't bounce the trailer like driving down the road will, I wouldn't think it would put any excessive stress on the frame.

I can see where this might pay for itself in a commercial environment, maybe.
What is the price on this thing?

A commercial envioronment is where I cannot see it being cost effective. The rare times it would be needed would hardly justify the initial investment not to mention lost revenue from the cargo it would displace. Keep in mind it is bolted to the trailer the trailer. It won't roll itself under there. The trailer would have to be hitched to something so it can pivot so that limits the movement.
