We just got back from a weekend outing and met up with some old friends from FL. My friend Jan said she attended a class on how to use the Splendid washer so you get good results. I love the convenience, but was not happy with how some things like jeans and slacks came out all wrinkled. Here are the things she was told:
1. Only use about a Tablespoon of detergent
2. Don't use dryer sheets, just use a "very small" amt. of softner.
3. Fold slacks, jeans, etc. into a square about 10" and place in the washer. When the wash cycle is done, take out and smooth and refold to place in the dryer. She said you can even do this with sheets.

Jan said she didn't believe her, so she went back to the coach and tried it. She said it really eliminates the "wrinkled" jeans and slacks. I can't wait to try it !

Glenda, I have the Model 2100 Spelndide in the new coach, which has the larger tub,but you still have to watch your load size.

HERE is a link to the Splendide FAQ section which has a lot of helpful information on the units, even some "sample" load types...

Yes, she did say you still have to keep your loads small. I just thought it was interesting that folding the clothes before you wash them would keep them from wrinkling. I was glad to get the tip since we will be on the road a lot this summer.

Welcome back....are you back ?
