I needed up buying this at Amazon. Its pretty good and seems solidly built. Looks like the same company builds all of them. We'll see how it lasts since it only gets occasional use.

I have a shorter Telescoping ladder.. Though I can not use it for ROOF access I like it very much for many other jobs.

I use an extension ladder for roof access.. Like it too.. But if I had a longer telescoping I'd not need it.

SUGGESTION: Get the highest weight rating you can carry.....Mine are rated 250-300 pounds (I am over 300) and they typically test to twice the rating so I have no problem with'em

Ive seen some rated 150 pounds...Which is why when I recently assisted a fellow RVer with an A/C problem...I used MY ladder.

About 10% rated it 3 stars or less. Over 85% rated it 4-5 stars. This was very similar to the ratings of the ~$200 ladders.

Enjoying reading responses. Does anyone have more info on where they store the ladders and if they modified their basement storage area to take up as little room as possible. I purchased the 15.5 ft ladder but it wil not fit in the basement area without laying flat on the slide tray. Any feedback and suggestions would be great. I am trying to configure this for a 2015 Newmar DutchStar 4369.

Thanks

Will it fit on it's side next to the slide tray? My basement is tall enough that it fits that way on the tray, but I have a folding table that I store on edge next to one of the trays.

I purchased an En131 Specification 16.5 Ft Aluminum Telescopic Telescoping Collapsible Ladder Extension on Amazon last July for $114.95 (+shipping).

I just checked on Amazon and they are currently available for $154.99 + $4.99 shipping.

The 16.5 height makes it adequate for getting on the roof of any coach and its En131 Specification rating makes it good for 330 pounds. The telescopic mechanism is a little awkward to extend and collapse but maybe that's just because of the low frequency of use. It does seem sturdy enough when in use, even near its maximum weight capacity.

I have the 14ft Telesteps and it is stuck in the extended position. The latch on one side is detached from the spring and will not release that side to collapse. I have tired communication through email with the Swedish Co but to no avail. I have been very happy with this ladder but will not recommend a product that has no support.

I do not know.. it is the line Camping World carried in 2004 But in 2005 they closed it out and brought in a new one.

I will say this: I can't tell the difference between the two brands without looking at the label.

Just make sure the weight rating is high enough is my only advice.

This is the one i have. I like it. 15 foot lets me get up to with extra room to set the bass back a few feet and make it more safe for going up and down. it is only about 3 foot or so when stored.

I use the xtend and climb also. I have one at home and one in the rv. Out rv doesn't have a ladder on the back and this works perfectly.
