In a different thread under plumbing I reported on a kinked Tigerflex bath sink drain line that was leaking. I lucked onto a knowledgable mobile technician in Portland, OR. He surveyed the issue finding that I also had a kinked vacum release return line on the same drain so no wonder the sink was draining slow. The supply house which could have sold him either material, suggested using flexible PVC (much used in spa's) saying they had not received any complaints of kinking by the flexible PVC. The flexible PVC is cheaper but still $11 a foot (I know, probably cheaper somewhere else but when your carpet is already wet, time is of the essence). The flexible PVC is (in diameter inside and outside) the same thing as the Tigerflex and worked in this application which is a now six foot U shaped loop under the bed that has to roll in and out as the slide is extended and retracted. The drain works as it should now but it will probably take another three days to completely dry out the carpet under the mattress as the only thing I can get in there to assist in the drying is a hair dryer due to space limitations. Other helpful suggestions are always appreciated.

Hi Kuppajoe!

I haven't used the flexible PVC in an RV but I did work with it when I installed my own spa a couple years ago and I can verify that the stuff will NOT kink up short of running over it with a forklift.

Sounds like a good suggestion to me.
