We recently purchased these for our truck ... I was so impressed I got some for the fifth wheel and our personal car.

Looked like good cheap tire insurance so I bought 4 for my toyhauler and 4 for my truck.
First time out, one of the truck tires kept showing low, so I kept adding air, next gas stop low, air, off I go, more air........
Then one of the trailer tires looked really semi-flat, but showed correct (this was after about 350 miles and one day).
Turns out, two of them were broken, one leaked from the stem (slow leak), it was on the truck. The other (on the trailer) showed green for correct pressure, but was stuck at that place and it leaked from the center of the plastic cone.
I sent both sets back, and they sent me 8 new ones.

Found one of the second set I opened was bad. If anyone wants the other set they can e-mail me for them.

They work good, not perfect. Which is what you want. I had some on our now departed dually truck.

Twice in one year I came out in the a.m. to find a tire 2/3 deflated.

There is a seal or o-ring inside the cap that is the culprit.

I did not have any problems with the incorrect color showing. OK in that respect.

I had not so good luck with them so I don't mind using them for the boat and the trailer, but I would not put them on the motorhome or my vehicles, just don't have confidence in them.

Last March I also bought a set from Camping world. After checking the air in the tires with a calibrated gauge, I installed the 1st cap. The end promptly blew off in my hand!! Well maybe just a fluke, installed a second one & it indicated RED/low preasure!! Took that junk back to Camping World for refund. E Mailed them (CW) with details, but never heard a word in return. Not something I want to take a chance on with a $200K+ coach.

Bought six for the motorhome and four for the car from Camping World. One on the car and three on the motorhome leaked. One on the motorhome went down 15 pounds and did not register as being low. Needless to say, they all came off.

To all just remember that over inflation is just as bad as under inflation. Those caps ONLY tell you when the tires are under inflated, if they are working properly, good luck. I love my Alcoa truck gauge. Use it every month!
