TPMS signal booster install question

I just purchased a TT 500 system and a signal booster. Looking to install it myself and looking for advise on placement and power source for the booster in my 2002 Monaco Windsor PKDD. Thanks for your advise.

In our '02 DSDP 40' I wired the repeater to a 12V plug, just laid the repeater on the bed and plugged it in to the 12V receptacle. Worked fine.

I replaced a 12v outlet at the vanity in the bedroom with a switch with a small LED. The booster is mounted in the closet on the other side of the wall. The booster is held in place with Velcro.

Booster for my TireMinder TPMS is lying in the storage shelf above the bed at the front of our trailer. It's tapped into the 12v light fixture on the underside of the shelf, and has a plug in the line so I can easily disconnect it when we're stationary. Works great.

In the ceiling of my bedroom there is a CO detector. Above it is just enough space to put the TPMS repeater which I connected to the 12V supply for the detector. Works fine and can't be seen at all.

Ok I got it installed. I wired it to the closet light in the rear of our coach and mounter it the the rod holder bracket. Need to puck up a couple wire holder brackets to route the wire out of the way and it will be finished. Then just install and program the sensors and then I can keep an eye on the tires to try and prevent another tire failure that cost me over $5000!

I also mounted the booster in the rear closet, and got power from the closet light. Very easy install. But now it is hard wired to a constant power source (drain). So now I have to go back and do it right and install a switch. On only when we travel.

Charlie, I installed the booster on the bedroom closet ceiling and wired it into the light fixture.

Previous owner had a repeater installed inside the steel battery box. I have no idea how he thought it was going to work. The first rule of radio is that radio signals can't get inside a steel box or get out either.

Since I am using a different system than he had, I put mine next to the wiring center on the right rear of my diesel pusher. Works fine.
