I just got my new copy of this program and am less than impressed. The map detail is great. It does not import trips from previous versions and more important it is very difficult to select a specific route. i.e. I have to avoid the Baltimore tunnel an use 695 and 301 around Washington. I have to keep creating a block to avoid large sections of the map. In previous versions yoy selected a road and chose preferred or avoid. It doesfind the campgrounds but you have o be very careful and use thecorrect format or you'll get no results.

Thank you for the update. I wasn't satisfied with the 2005 version, so with your post you saved me the effort of trying the software again this year.

I sent my copy back. State roads turned to interstate roads when zooming in. parks close to home were off in wrong place by 60 miles or more, one was in wrong state.

I just sent my copy back. Maps are OK but not as good as other pure map software and the trip routing/planning seems weak to me. Maybe since I have used premium price packages, I expect too much?

I also did not care for the way the campground info is presented (or rather, not presented) on the map. Basically you have to pick a destination and then inquire for campgrounds near there. I like to look at an area map with lots of "campground dots" and then select a route, working my way along roads that have camgrounds. That's because our normal mode of travel is very flexible - we drive until we feel like stopping and then say "what campgrounds are near by?"

Did not work well for us, but maybe would be fine for others.

It's totally amazing. They've been trying to get this thing right for the last 4 or 5 years but they still can get it done. I returned 2 versions of the program dissatisfied with the effort that was applied toward the writing of that software.

Now if they could publish the DeLorme Street Atlas with all the campground info your get off of Streets and Trips that would be a nice piece of work. Right now I have to run both of those apps in separate windows.

Trailer Life 2006 is a very good improvement over their 2005 program. However to make it work properly download the "Service Pack 1" located at ww.undertowsoftware.com/support/TLCN2006.htm. With the download installed it works very well.

DeLorme Street Atlas 2006 is hard to beat for maps and GPS and voice but it would really be great if they had the Trailer Life Campground info with Campground Ratings.

MS Streets and Trips 2006 would be a better program if it had the Their Campground info as a part of the program instead on line. GPS works well.

I still like the old Rand McNally Trip Planner just to do some quick planning and for its National Park Campground info.
