TST 507 System
Can some one please tell me what this system displays when it looses comms with one of the sensors underway? Does it continue to display the last known reading or does it indicate no reading or some kind of error?

I have had mine a little over a year but had one battery go bad this summer. It alarmed and showed 38 psi instead of 100. I guessed it was a battery and it was. when I am away from my toad it doesn't show any reading at all.

If you get out of range , the last reading will continue to show. That would only be an issue if a tire comes off.
I can un-hook from the RV and drive away and it will continue to display the last redings.

I'm pretty sure there's a "time out" if it doesn't receive a signal from a sensor. When I unhook the toad from the MH I press the key combination (MODE + minus) that removes the toad from the display. Otherwise in a few hours it will start beeping because it hasn't gotten updates from the toad's sensors.

A system that doesn't tell me I'm not communicating with a sensor is worthless. In a few replies I've got mixed answers

It may depend on the age of the system (and thus its programming). Ours was bought mid-year and when we drive the MH without the dolly/toad the rear display just does not display any pressures, even if we start off in our driveway with everything close by. I drove to the dealer this week, a half-hour away, and the rear display just went blank sometime during the drive.

you can choose any system you like. I have had mine 18 months and 7,000 mile without a problem.

TST 507 will beep, show red light, and display blank/no information for sensor when signal is lost. Each time system cycles to tire with lost signal, it will beep again and repeat this sequence until signal is recovered. Most of the time I can recover lost signal by power cycling display. Also have success by stopping, removing & reinstalling sensor.

Thanks that's what I was hoping for with the loss of a sensor.

That is what my 3 year old 507 system does too. I added the booster/repeater antenna TST sells a year or so ago and now get solid signals all the time.

I had random sensor loss until I added the repeater about 2 yrs ago. You definitely know when the signal is lost as described above.

Will the TST system give you a cold temp pressure without having to move the coach in the morning.

Yes; wheel rotation is not needed.
