Using a buffer with Rejex

I have read where people use a buffer or random orbital sander with a buffer pad to apply and buff out rejex.
Can someone explain exactly how this is done. Do you use it to apply the rejex? If so, how does that help? Also, do you use it to buff off the haze?
Does it save time? Does it do a better job?

Thanks,

I used Rejex on the front of my TT, applied by hand, many coats. Could tell no difference from a regular wax/polish. Didn't 'reject' the bugs or make cleaning bugs any easier than a wax. Expensive. Maybe you'll have better luck with it.

I wax my entire coach with Rejex once a year. Goes on easy and buffs off easy with a microfiber towel.

Just don't wait too long for it to dry. The longer it dries the harder it is to buff off. Don't do it in direct sunlight. I do a section at a time and wait about 15 minutes to buff.

Seems easier to buff off that new finish. Less white in the cracks and less white dust.

Nice shine. Not sure if the extra effort with a buffer is worth it though. That is unless you wait to long.

I've been using Rejex for years on my MH. If you do small sections at a time there is no need for a buffer. It wipes on and off easily. I always put an extra coat on the front before travelling. It does make getting bugs off much easier.

I own and use a Rupes Skorpio pneumatic 6" pad random orbital palm sander/polisher to both apply and remove Rejex (separate foam pads). It's just a time saver for me and produces excellent results. Where I have surface scratches I will typically use 3M's Perfect It using the same tool (again, different pad type) to clear those away before applying the Rejex.

The Rupes palm sander/polisher is super light, variable speed and just a breeze to use.

The rejex I instructions say to remove any other wax before applying it. I have put a coat of nu finish last year about this time and was wondering if I could app,y the rejex over that without removing it since it is not really a wax.

You can but the REJEX will not bond properly to the paint finish. Best to wipe it down with a wax & grease remover before applying the REJEX. Another option could be to wash the surface using a water solution containing Dawn dishwashing detergent which will strip away any wax or polish residue (but can result in streaking if not rinsed well).

I used Rejex on the front cap on my coach last summer and was NOT happy with it. Won't be using it again. To me Turtle wax ICE is a much better product and produces a much better shine. Easier to put on and take off. I ended up using my Porter Cable orbital polisher to put it on and a microfiber towel to take it off . The Turtle wax product doesn't leave a white film either, and can be put on in direct sunlight as long as it isn't too hot. Can also be used on black window frames, makes them look good again. I worked my butt off getting the oxidation off my coach last summer and I want it to stay that way. The PO of my coach didn't do much on keeping it nice, as it sat for at least 3 years before I bought it last spring.
