Valterra Sewer Solution

I just watched a u-tube video on this system. I like the idea of it because it doesn't involve using an electric macerator but just water jet.

Anyway, has anyone had any experience with this system. I am looking to use at my kids house and if it works like it is suppose to, it would save us a lot of trouble with the barker tote. Thanks for any advice.

I have one and use it to dump at home where I have to go up 3' to a basement window then down into a floor drain. It works great, never had a clog. I don't carry it on the road, it's slower than my slinky and uses a lot of water. I like the faster draining of the slinky to move things out of the tank. At home, it does a fine job, even with an additional 25' of 1 1/2" hose attached to make the distance.

Got it, use it, like it. I dump at home often and it's just the ticket for the 2 foot rise to my dump pipe.

Thanks Bob and Don. It sounds like just the ticket to "git er done." Appreciate your comments.

Happy RV'ing

After I first used the Sewer Solution, I have never used the old 3" stinky hose again.

I like it so much that I keep it connected all the time. I have installed a permanent water supply to the SS and only connect and disconnect the discharge hose.

I use plastic gloves when dumping, but not a single drop of water or sewage gets on my hands or the ground.

The discharge hose is self cleaning and a joy to use (well as much joy as is possible dumping a black water tank).

I have added several lengths of 1" PVC pipe and fittings to extend the discharge as far as 40' (can be extended more if necessary). I have used my entire 40' a few times with complete success.

Just follow the instructions, and you will never look back!

Good Luck!

70'

Last Summer, while continuously parked in N. Idaho from July 1st to October 7th we ran twenty foot of Sewer Solution hose plus 50 foot of 1" PVC. We didn't notice any issues at all. Yet, we prefer the 3" as the SS is slow to move things along and uses a lot more water to rinse/empty.
