Water Bay Shower Wand-

The Oxygenics shower head thread got me thinking about the tough time I have washing my hands after dumping the tanks, or just working on the Motor Home. I always had to hold the Water Bay Shower head in between my knees and the spray was always real weak anyway (got my shoes wet all the time).

Today I solved that problem- . Here are the pictures of my little project-

I bought a neat garden spray nozzel with a ton of different settings at a cool Hardware store in Damariscotta, Maine. It also has a "flow control" setting on top. $15. (Made by "Best").

Then I bought a suction cup shower head holder. The shower hose was a wee-bit too small for the holder. I cut a piece of 5/8" OD x 1/2" ID plastic tubing, about 4 inches long, and slit it lenghtwise, making a "bushing" (if you will). I then duct taped it to the spray hose. The new seven foot spray hose came with a Dog wash/bath "Rapid Bath" system I bought last year. This spray is with 30psi water pressure coming into the MH- We have low pressure here. I might add a "quick Disconnect" fitting so that I can change the nozzels more easily.

Here it is in the "Stored" mode.

Cheers, and happy, safe travels to all you folks.

I've always hated that stupid water bay nozzle/faucet sprayer. Thanks for the modification idea, Max. I'm gonna make a trip to either HD or Lowes & see what I can find to upgrade mine.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
