It's not really an app however the more recent Garmin RV GPS's have a weather function as long as you pair them to your phone for Internet access.

On an app-related note, are there any that allow you to input the NOAA SAME alert codes? I still keep an old-fashioned weather radio in the motorhome for that reason.

This is long-time barely known wind site for the USA: Wind Map

You can mouseover a location and click to zoom.

This one is the most accurate I have found, with regard to answering the question is it going to rain in the next hour ? It will even tell you within a few minutes accuracy when it will stop raining at your exact location.

DarkSky - hyper-local weather (for when you don't care what's 200 miles away).

WeatherUnderground - now owned by another company, the amount of info they provide is astounding (especially for free!). Their 10 day forecast is one of the best out there.

For radar I use Pyk3l Radar. It's a $10 app for Android and worth more. If you have multiple devices linked to your Google Play store using the same email address, the $10 license can be used on all those devices, simultaneously if you desire.

WeatherBug is my go to. Works great in US and overseas.

We use MyRadar. Shows you real time weather info. Very accurate.

I use Windy.com mostly, it is delayed a few minutes so if live radar is critical I will also use NWS.

Windy is great and can be configured to show a lot different things, take the time to play with the menus. There is an android app or a website
