I've had a dustbuster type, but I didn't use it much as it wasn't very powerful and was tough to get into little nooks.

I've now got a rechargeable Coleman 1 gal shop vac type. Other than having to replace the battery sooner than I figured, I'm much happier with it. Comes with a wall and a lighter plug to charge, and assorted attachments...

We use a Dustbuster for everyday clean-ups and to get into the nooks and crannies. It has a crevice tool attachment. Buy one with the highest voltage you can. Ours is 9.6V and has decent power. I think they even make bigger ones.

We use an 8 lb. Oreck for weekly cleaning. It is light weight and does an excellent job.

This is the Industrial Strength Dust Buster that I use. Got it at Wal*Mart.
