I have the Mobley and a Verizon hotspot. If I do data on T Mobile it's via my iPhone. I generally use the Mobley at this point and Verizon if AT&T is running crappy.

Yep I have a Mobley and a Verizon mifi device. I almost always use the Mobley since I have a 8gb limit on Verizon. Best part is my bill is still only $20 for Mobley and $70 for Verizon. As soon as my contract is over the Verizon mifi it will go into the garbage.

I'm dumping Verizon, but planning to toss the hotspot in a drawer. There's too much uncertainty with cell networks for me to discard working technology that small.

Have you checked to see what it would cost you to cancel early?

Had something weird happen this morning. I turned on the desk computer and could not connect to anything on internet. The little icon on the bottom right showed I was connected to Mobley with internet access, but it wasn't working. I reset the Mobley and all is OK!

Occasionally happens to me .... I put the Mobley on a wall outlet timer that powers it down around 11pm and back on around 4 am. Seems to be happier that way. BTW, did you ever resolve your YouTube problem?

I sometimes need to connect more than 5 devices to the mobley. So I ordered a Netgear Unite Pro 781s (AT&T), Ebay $25. I plan to put the mobley sim in the 781s this will allow me to connect 15 items. Others have done this with great success.

Has anyone had a problem with the Mobley slowing down speed?

Nope, it still continually freezes while watching a video! I've checked the speed often and it's around 10 Mbps.

Did you take the Mobley and laptop on a roadtrip to try a different location?

Are you near the end of your monthly billing cycle?

Haven't been anywhere with it yet. I just got a notice from AT&T a couple of days ago that my payment had been taken out. Not sure about the date.

Thumbs up Mobley Experience

We've been using our Mobley device since Oct 8th from CT to AZ and will be headed outside of LA soon. Some locations just won't stream well even with, what appears to be, plenty of tested speed (speedtest.net). We're now in Phoenix for the past 3 weeks and it is performing great and we can stream movies without issue. Is it possible that the reported bandwidth is being shared by a lot more users in some areas, not sure? So far the combination of the AT&T Mobley device and our T-Mobile cell phones are serving us well ... so far that is

I was just wondering if they are actually throttling.

Wouldn't I be seeing a speed reduction, or is it just bandwidth, or is that the same thing? I'm pretty computer illiterate!
