Might have something to do with the state you are in.

$22.01 here also. Thought our illustrious (NOT) governor would have out-taxed any other state!

It does depend on what state you're in and it's probably not necessary for everyone on the forum to individually state that theirs is lower since it's pretty much irrelevant.

I got one just the other day but I had to go and eBay to get it and spent $200 more than the AT&T still sells it for even though they're not available.

I got it hooked it up and it works great

I wonder how long AT&T will continue to support Mobley? I'm thinking that they expected the data use to be self limiting since they thought they'd only be used in a car.

The AT&T boss lady said that they are now pushing "connected car" which requires the car to come from the factory with hardware installed. But then they offer unlimited streamng without throttling with Direct TV Now using a Roku. I sure hope they have the capacity to support all this data use.

I went to the local corporate store today and was told Mobley was at "end of life" and no longer available and the $20 stand alone unlimited plan went with it. They do have a $20 @ month add on hotspot if you have a qualifying unlimited plan, I don't, I have the grandfathered unlimited plan.

It probably bears repeating that information obtained from CS reps (online or in person) is notoriously unreliable. On any given day we hear that the Mobley has been discontinued, or it hasn't, or it's being replaced, or it's not, or that the $20 Connected Plan is gone, or it's not, or that it works in Canada (it doesn't), etc. Just flip a coin as to which is true and you'll have an equal chance of being correct vs. anything a rep tells you.

As far as the $20 Connected car plan being gone, it clearly is not as you can still order it on the BYOD page (if you have a Mobley), just as you always could. An official (and public/verifiable) announcement from AT&T on the topic is the only information that carries any weight at all and nothing has been released thus far.

When I questioned why it was still on the website and the $20 plan is featured on a banner ad if it had reached end of life he had no answer.
