30 amp reducer to 20 amp.

My lot has a 30 amp RV plug about 100 feet from the breaker box. I’d like to be able to use my standard 15/20 amp drill, weed wacker etc . Can I simple use add a 20 amp female plug to a known good 30 amp extension cord?

you can buy a pig tail with 30amp male and 15/20amp female plug. Then just use a normal extension cord for your tools.

….sure, just realize that your 15/20 amp tool and your 15/20 amp extension cord are now "protected" by a 30 amp breaker, not the 15/20 amps they were designed for...

Got the 30-20 reducer/adapter and a 50-30 adapter so 30amp guests can plug into either of my 2 extra RV spots.
