All,
I'm sure this topic is covered in some forum somewhere but my time is limited to search (I'm deployed in Iraq), so I will pose my question to the group deferring to your collective knowledge.
I have an 01 HR Endeavor that when purchased still had the old CRT TV's in the front and back, I have since upgraded those to LCD and now am looking to tie a Blu-Ray surround sound system to the main center in the front. I am looking for suggestions as to how best to wire the speakers and placement of the speakers, placement of the unit (I know that it is larger than the allotted cabinet space originally in place), and any tactics techniques or procedures others may have used when conducting this kind of upgrade. Any information is useful! I have extensive knowledge in A/V technology but limited knowledge as to the construction of RVs and methods to power/wire A/V equipment in them. I will begin work on this project upon my return to the States so I'm gathering all the information I can now. Thank you for your time!

Thanks TW,
I have the unit, I'm more concerned with the actual installation.

Keep us posted. I'd like to install a similar unit and also have very little space.

I had a similar problem. I upgraded my TV and added a Blu-Ray player and the sound was poor. It was very hard to hear the TV when the air conditioner is running. I purchased a JBL Control 2.4G wireless speaker system (I found them on ebay very reasonable). You can set it up with two, or four speakers. There are no wires required from the TV transmitter to the speakers. It has a small power supply with an audio plug and transmitter that I installed behind the front TV. I then mounted the two speakers to the wall on each side of the kitchen area. The primary speaker requires 110V power, but the AC adapter and wire are very small (about the size of a cell phone charger). I was able to plug it in the cabinet above the microwave and route the small power wire out to the speaker only a few inches away. The second speaker is mounted on the opposite side of the coach. It also requires a very small speaker cable routed from the primary speaker (but does not require 110V power). I stapled it into the seam along where the wall meets the roof. I ran the speaker cable along the seam back to the hall door, then across to the other side. The system comes with a wireless remote to turn the volume up/down or mute it. I adjusted it near full volume and then just use the TV remote to adjust the overall volume. It sounds great was was easy to install.

Thank you Vito, excellent idea! I'm having to work around the fact that my kitchen area slides out so wiring is the trickiest part of this project.

Just went shopping for a new Home Theatre for big screen. Tried a Bose Sound in the store- all I can say is WOW. Not cheap ($1,700) but the sound it produced blew my socks off. It struck me on how it could solve a lot of retro problems of trying to get wires through a finished RV space.
