I have been researching Extenders/Boosters/Repeaters for sometime and have my eye on one in particuar, but that's another story. Resort Wifi are of two different varieties captured portal and WPA/WPA2 encryption. Most repeaters or booster/extenders will easily connect and repeat access to multiple devices connected to a connected router if they are WPA/WPA2 encryption type, but there are no E/B/R's that will allow for the connection and access to a captive portal (which is the type of network that requires the user to click a box to accept the terms of the host network.) Now for the layperson that's the type of hotspot that sends you to the host webpage that requires you to accept terms and conditions before allowing you to go to another website. So to the OP were the WIFI hotspots you attempted to connect to, but had difficulties using, were they of this "accept terms variety"??
