Antennas

My in-laws have recently purchased a 97 Rexhall class A motorhome. It has a target 360 antenna that is broken. Are there any parts available anymore or is that brand become obsolete?

It sound to me like you are referring to a folding "Winegard type" antenna. This is still the most common on RV's. It fold up/down when winding a handle inside the RV, and when it is in the "up position" it can be turned 360 about degrees.

There are plenty of spare parts for this type of antenna - here for example.

Google "target 360 rv antenna" It appears to be an older antenna with no current parts available.

The rooftop antennas do NOT crank 360 degrees. A stop is incorporated so the wiring does not get twisted off by over-rotating the antenna. This does create a "blind" spot. Check for yourself--go uptop, have someone inside rotate the antenna and see how much of 360 degrees you actually get.

I sincerely appreciate the responses to my question. I love this website!
However I own a 5'er with a Winegard antenna and it is quite different than the Target 360. By the way that has been the only name I can find on it. There is a worm gear on top made of pot metal that has broken. I have done some research but no luck on replacement parts. I was just hoping for a suggestion from one of these wonderful folks that visit this site often. I love the knowledge on this website!

You may want to check into a "JACK"....several manufacturers have begun installing them on their new units.
