Or, because I have the old style switch, I pull up AntennaPoint.com, plug in my zip, find stations at 30 miles or so, get the compass heading, get out my trusty compass, aim and scan. Touch up if needed. Sometimes a moot point cuz there's those shady trees ... then back to Netflix or a Kindle book.

I use the IOS app "Antenna Point"
It lets me know what direction and how close OTA channels are.
