No point other than I have a dedicated internet hot spot. I have a verizon jetpack also but they throttle once I get 10gigs.

I like the Mobely because it is only the hot spot, no phone texts, no constant updating, no battery just a hot spot.

When I bought my plan it was for a vehicle with built in hot spot. the work around was by buying a mobely for my truck, now it had a built in hot spot. Then I could sign up for car connect.

Has anyone really been throttled after 22gb of data....that you can definitely point to going over? I've been slowed down after 22gb during holidays at the lake.....but then EVERYONE was slowed down. I've gone over plenty of times around the State and not noticed any difference. Can anyone PROVE being slowed down?

Hi Kip, without details of when and where it would be hard to prove. Popular spots around lakes and tourist attractions are notorious for being overloaded during peak times. In those instances EVERYONE takes a hit. Cell companies cannot afford to overbuild to cover the occasional overload conditions.

I am talking about being throttled on a verizon jetpack. They sent me texts that i was reaching the limit, then that i reached the limit. then i could only get dial up speeds for the next week till the plan rolled over. This happened in quartzsite Arizona, two months in a row.

I don't think it is a prove it tpye of thing. They told more that they throttle before I bought it and then they throttled me because I watched to much Netflix, lol. It was okay, I just went outside and played. Lol

Thanks Kip....I get those text messages also on AT&T. I guess you did indeed get throttled. Just curious, did your speed go back up when the month rolled over? Thanks and good luck.

I've been using ZTE Mobley since March 2017. $23.45 INCLUDING tax. Traveled through 21 states and the service has been excellent. Nor have I experienced any throttling back of service north of 22gb.

Since I didn't jump on the mobley in time.. I'm thinking of doing the connected car to my toad (2016 F150) and just using that to connect my devices in my coach to the internet. Not nearly as versatile as having the mobley, but.. it will give me reliable internet as long as I have the toad close by.

i was trying to get a Mobley ever since I heard about the $20/mo. unlimited plan - but the device was never in stock.

After months and months, I finally found the device in stock but the $20 unlimited plan was gone.

I contacted AT&T (via the Chat feature) and the person went on a 10 minute search but came back and said that plan has expired.

What is the current status of the ATT Mobely? Have read many old posts of how good a service for the price, can you still get the service as a new user?

I'm using my Mobley right now and it works fine but I can't answer about availability to new subscriptions.
