I'm looking for some input on two systems I have been looking at, also any information on installation do's and don'ts. I'll do the install myself. Winegard Movin'view #MV3500T and King-Dome Trac-King #9760LPR. Thanks in advance.

After a BAD experience with Wineguard's "lack of" customer service I chose KingDome for the new rig and have never looked back....
Had the MovinView on a rig and called Wineguard,it kept frying boards and they said no idea...
After I gave up and threw the thing in the dumpster in disgust, they finally came out with a recall.
KingDome or KVH would be my choice....

I installed the KVH L3 two RVs ago and it was good. My 2004 Bus came with the KingDome 9760 and it was good. My 2007 Bus came with the 9762 KingDome and it is even better. The 9762 is a dual LNB in-motion dome and it has better electronics than the 9760 did. I find that I get signal strengths in the 70s where I used to get in the 50s. I'd recommend the KingDome but I'd also recommend going with the current model, the 9762-LP instead of the older model #9760.
Check out the King-Dome website for more details.

Thanks for the information Cruzer, I called King Dome they said the differance between the 9760 and the 9762 was that the 9760 was a single LNB and the 9762 ia a double LNB, the electronics are the same.

I have the Winegard and could not ask for better customer service. Whenever I had a prob they either talked me thru it, or they wuold ask me my location, find a nearby dealer for me and schedule a time for me to go in and they would replace the entire rooftop unit. No charge fo any of it. I'm a customer for life with Winegard.
