Only if I had to work out of the RV for a long time to consider those expenses.

Wow!! What a joke, thousands of dollars in equip and install and $600.00/mo for 300gb, with just moderate download/upload speeds, complete rip-off. I use >500gb monthly using a $100.00 hotspot, $300.00 booster, and a $29.95/mo plan, never once have I been throttled or been without a solid internet connection.

https://www.starlink.com/ is the one to watch. These other providers will quickly be out of business. There has been one mass deployment (60-SATs) launch so far and Starlink says they could start offering Starlink Internet covering the entire lower-48 States after another 5 launches.

If you travel a lot, you'll find that cell data isn't isn't always available. And if you have to have an Internet connect, then it starts looking like less of a joke.

Don't count on cheap. StarLink is primary intended for stock markets.

We used DishNet SAT Internet service at our home in remote Jackson, Wyoming back in 2002. You could download a single large file fast. But surfing the web? Not so much. Lots of hang ups and slow downs. The 24,000 mile round trip between the uplink in VA and the SAT in space was crippling even for the simple webpages that the internet served up in 2003. Uploads from your system took forever.

We gladly dumped that service and switched to Fixed Base Wireless which even though it was quite slow seemed like FIBER compared to DishNet.
