I have a Direct TV D11 receiver and am wondering if a Bell Expressveiw receiver is compatable with the KVH sattelite dish or what needs to be done to make the expressveiw compatable?

Thank You

ExpressVu uses satelllites 91 & 82. These are not used by any of the US providers. 91 has all the basic channels and 82 has newer ones plus HD. If the dish is "ExpressVu compatible", you should have no problem getting 91 but will require one less the 4 or 5 years old to also get 82. The dish should work with all receivers but given it has a single coax feed, will not hook up to both tuners in a dual tuner/PVR receiver.

DirecTV uses 101,, As Bobmac said Bell uses 82 and 91.. SOME KVH domes can be reset to use those two birds, and to switch under receiver command... Which ones (And how to do it) .. I do not know. KVH and Direct are ... ."linked" which is one of the reasons I do not have their product. (Have a relationship)
