I haven't played with it enough to know the answer to that. You can easily read the plates on vehicles driving right in front of you!

How can I attach an MP4 file for viewing here? I tried it as an attachment and it won't work!

Turns out Rove just released a 8 MP camera version called Stealth 4K , double the picture quality , double the memory capacity to 512 MB
$ 199.00 plus $30.00 off coupon, so around $170.00 ......8 MP = enough resolution to read license plates [emoji12][emoji736]

Funny you ask...spent a while on the internet today and learned quite a bit about dash cams for the RV. Personally I am looking to get one camera that looks out the front window and into the RV.
This video gave me the basics to look for hope it helps you

The easist way is to upload the file to youtube, then display it on our forums.

Too bad that guy was standing in front of the truck license plate in the pullout. That was the best opportunity to try to read a plate in those 3 mins. That said, the quality is very nice!
