To expand on Captain Gizmos post, the software mentioned here is far easier than the only other commercial alternative, VMSPC.

I was amazed how many non technical people where using vmspc and struggling to make it work. I am a very technical capable person, and I struggled with the software from SilverLeaf .

The Bluefire application is not as easy as the dashboard on a typical car, but it is far easier to use than vmspc.

As Captain Gizmo said, it is not needed. It sure is fun and informative, and I am happy that I stumbled across this product.

Just got my Bluetooth adapter in and it works as advertised for my 18 spartan Dutch star displaying info on my iPhone 8! Pretty cool.

I havenít found it yet, but is there a setting that can turn the Bluetooth adapter lights off??? I can just see the LES end of it at my feet while Iím driving...

you can dim the lights, but not disable.

My solution was to take the plastic container it came with, and dip it in black wax on the outside. This ends up being the perfect cover.

Is there a reason night mode on the app on the iPhone not let me select ďuse light sensor?Ē

I found the setting to dim the leds which is really nice. Very cool. 1-100%. Very manageable to have it at the lowest setting and doesnít distract.

Now that you are a contributor, go to my repository and create a folder for your username and then add the files.

Add the xml and optionally the same file zipped and a screenshot image of your dash. Thx!

Not sure if all the data will be available on the Spartan, but might as well play until I get mine! ;-)

My goal was to group similar functions, along with keeping text labels to a minimum.

The "home page" of my dashboard has limited gauges. The system monitors the rest of the data and displays the "diagnostic view" when there is an issue. Otherwise only the stuff that you use regularly while driving is paramount (Speed, Gear, Music, Maps, etc).
The rest of gauges is "noise" to the driver if there are no issues. But, the rest of gauges are a click away if the driver / mechanic needs that information now.

More is not better.

Too bad these templates donít auto adjust for different screens. I want to use my iPhone 8+. Some really good layouts so far. Looking forward to BlueFire implementing more color/design customization features

I haven't used BlueFire software yet...but are you suggesting the UI should be "responsive" ie: auto scale to the device's pixels?

Something to consider is a good UI is designed for a particular screen. It takes advantage of the available real estate and isn't intended to be squashed or stretched to fit. We design UI's optimized for tablets, and another set for phones. And there is autoscaling technology is best used for small tweeks between phones and between some tablet sizes.
