Bluetooth radio

Just took delivery of our 2012 Honda CR-V. The radio will play Pandora or Iheartradio via Bluetooth if they are playing on my iPhone. Does anyone have an idea of how much data is used by streaming radio? I don't want to blow my 6Gb plan with Verizon.....

Depends on the stream. Can be anywhere from 32 to 128 kbps. 16 kbps for talk radio. So 6 291 456 kilobytes divided by the kbps gives you how many seconds.

I listen to Aha and Pandora radio via my IPhone on a Pioneer GPS head unit at least 2hrs per day. My Verizon plan allows 2gb per month and I usually only use about .5 gig. So at 6 gb you can listen a lot without running over. I also use wifi any time I can to save on data use. I love Aha and Pandora and seldom listen to local radio.
