If you have a VOM (volt ohm meter) put it on ohms and from where your cable tv enters the RV take a paper clip and short the center conductor to the shield end. With the ohm meter remove the coax connectors from the pre-amp box and when you see the meter go to near zero (a short) you found the feed to the amplifier. This will show you also if you have a bad coax if neither reads near zero. Do the same to the coax going from the switch to the tv. If all is good then make sure you have the right cables on the right coax connectors.
