cable connection problem ???

We are connected to campground cable but are only receiving 4 of 35 channels. Just bought 05 Seabreeze lx, it has Winegard switchbox, KVH TracVison dome, but we have not installed receiver yet. This is our second weekend out with unit and thought cable would be great even though 1st weekend local antenna reception in last weeks camping area was great. Any ideas what we should look for...campground check at site connection and was getting all stations...must be on our end. Been boaters for 40 yrs...this is our 1st motorhome and we're feeling a little out of our element.

cable connection problem ???

Check the options on the tv. Make sure it is sent to cable & also all channels you want are permitted. I have been there myself.

Hi gpopa,
After you connect to CG cable, push the cable TV button on the distribution box and go to the menu on your TV and tell the TV:

1. cable is the video source
2. auto scan for all the channels that are available

You'll need to do this each time you connect to a different CG's cable system.

All the above depends on your individual coach's components. It is how my TV works on CG cable.

Let us know if this works.

That was it...amazing how well things work when the operators knows what they're doing. Thank you Gary! What a wonderful tool this forum has turned out to be. We search this site often to get questions answered. Thanks again!

Thanks for the thanks and you're welcome. I'm glad the solution was easy to do and there was no need to purchase anything.
