Many times, when trying to hook up the TV cable from the MH to the campground cable, the space provided for screwing in the cable connector is a little too small for my fat fingers. This also has become true at the house as well. Searching for cable connectors that will screw onto the cable and then the connector will 'push' onto the cable connection. I have seen some that are 'straight' push on, and '90 degree' push on, but they are metal. Seem to recall similar, but covered in rubber, to mitigate exposure to the elements.
any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanx
Russ

F connector adapters also known as push on to screw on rg6 adapters, availible at Radio Shack or any electonic store. Don't recall ever running across a weatherproof one--------
Best,
Bob

FWIW I have used the two-part epoxy that you can buy at Wal-Mart. It looks like a jelly-roll. Make a small piece, about the size of a drinking straw, and mold it to the outside of the small connector. Make sure you don't get it too big. On my rig there is another connection real close for the Sat Input. I have used it for at least 3 years now.

Don't sweat the elements on push on connectors. A little Dielectric grease available at any hardware or Radio Shack will keep your connectors free from moisture, salt air, and improve the contact. I have used it for 10 years now, I was always losing my connection in Florida during the winter until I went with the dielectric grease.

Most TV stores, Radio Shack, Hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot and even dollar stores in many cases have a "PUSH ON" adapter.
These adapters do have a short life,,,, but at a buck a pop. who cares.
I may approach a manufacturer with a product I have plans for.. but I"m not there yet.
Option 2: Take a short length of hose, (I'll leave the specifics of the hose to you save for one thing.. INSIDE DIAMATER
IT should fit snugly over the 7/16" nut of the fitting but still turn freely over the cable.
Now force it over the nut.. Use it to turn the nut from say 3 or six inches back
HOse doubles as strain relief on the coupling too.

I actually own the style that Alvin posted, and do like it a lot, but it occurred to me that the screwdriver style might be even easier in some tight quarters. To each his own.

Try this tool.
Here's the screw on to push on adapter.
Beenthere has the right attitude. Don't worry about how long the last and use dielectric grease, if you want to go that extra mile.

Thanx to all for the suggestions. Did a google search and found a place to buy the screw on push on gold connectors for $.69 each, which is way cheaper than anywhere else. The nickel plated were $.34. Radio Shack and other places were asking for anywhere from $2 to $7 each. Anyway, bought a handful. At this sort of cost will not worry too much about exposure to the elements and being gold plated may help a bunch.
Thanx again
Russ
