Cable into Coach

2019 Baystar 3609. Connected cable from camp post to coach but would not send to the TVs in the coach. Connected direct to outside tv, worked great. Have winegard direct TV system we don't use, we stream everything. How did I connect cable when I want to?

You should have an antenna/cable splitter amplifier somewhere in the coach. The antenna amplifier has to be turned off for the cable signal to pass through. It is sometimes a pushbutton on a switch plate that has to be in for antenna and out for cable.

Like Lt Dan said make sure your OTA booster is turned off in order to get cable TV. Not sure which specific Bay Star model you have but on our 2018 Bay Star and a lot of Newmar gas models it is to the right of the passenger seat down near the floor.
