To my knowledge there is no limit on the receivers or DVR on one account. The limitation is only one genie per account (HR-34, 44, or 54). The channel limitation is set by the LNB either 8, 13 or 21. That include the receiver record channels (five for the genies or two for most of the other DVRs or receivers as well as the transmitted frequencies (whole home or genies). With a 13 LNB you can have a genie receiving 5 channels, transmitting 3 channels to clients and still have 2 HR-24s on the line at the same time. There is a new LNB 3D2RB out that is specifically for HR-54 with 4K capability. It is a 13 channel LNB with reverse band frequencies (that's where the 4k shows have gone). Of course you still need the C-61K client for the 4K TV signal as the DVR can't transmit HDMI 2.1 signals required by the 4K TVs.

Thanks Jim. I totally missed the announcement of the 21 channel LNB.
