Check the quick start guide for the Carryout, page 4. If you have a setup similar to what's shown, then it may have a problem getting a signal through. Some coaches use a single feed coax for cable and satellite.

My Itasca has separate cable and exterior satellite coax feeds and I have had no problem using the Carryout on DirecTV last year and now on Dish. It would not receive HD on DirecTV, but does on Dish. Also, it automatically switches between satellites on Dish, which a manual system will not unless it's a multi LNB.

My rear connection doesn't say sattelite it says cable
My rear connection in rear compartment says cable not sattelite. Is that the problem? This connection worked fine fro manual pointing duel LMB dish sattelite but not for Wineguard Carryout

The old cable line can't carry the 12v signal needed for the Wineguard Carryout. I had to run a different cable.

The reason you are having power issues running through your rig is the co-ax is probably RG 59. You need RG6 to supply enough voltage from the receiver back to the portable sat dish.

That's exactly right. My whole coach is wired with that old stuff.

It is RG6, maybe it is compromised somewhere.
