Later this week we will head for Canada from the Seattle area, will we have cell phone (Verizon) and wiFi reception?

I do not know about reception. I have a 3 watt signal repeater off the coach roof so I can get and send a signal from many places other folks can not talk. From a cost view, check your contract. I just returned from Canada. I just got my AT&T bill. I paid 80 cents a minute for minutes used in Canada.

WIFI capability will depend on each CG.

Your Verizon unit should roam on the Telus network. We roam on the Verizon network when in the US. It is a wide spread good network. If you are heading north for a while invest in a roaming package - could save you lots of money.

I used mine last year in Edmonton because the Qualcomm in the tractor would not but watch your roaming I think mine was north on .90 cents a minute, did not try the Wi-Fi.

We went to Alaska last year and had WiFi in most CGs. Although I had one kid in a very nice park tell me they were required to charge $12/da by the Canadian Government (a blantant lieand I told him so). Most were free or reasonable. No cell service. We bought a card and used it (low priced).
