You'll probably find that your set up is very popular. We use Verizon with the USB aircard in a Cradlepoint 350 wireless router and bat wing mounted truckers antenna.

We've just started out with a new-to-us Class A after 6 years out of the hobby. We have Virgin Mobile service, which is a hell of a deal price-wise if you don't call much ($5 a month, all of which goes to minutes, except for the taxes).

The downside is very spotty coverage. Virgin is a re-seller of Sprint. We've found that coverage is poor, even in relatively populous areas. OUt in the boonies, forget about it! Whether an amplified antenna (Wilson type) would help, we don't know, and at theire prices, I don't think I want to experiment. Has anyone used an amplified antenna system to get Sprint service?

We really don't want to get into the expensive cell-phone services like ATT or Verizon, but DW doesn't like the idea of being isolated. We really don't NEED wifi, though we do use a netbook while on the road. So far, we've been able to access the internet often enough for it not to be a problem (thank-you, McDonalds).

Verizon has given us the best coverage Midwest and West USA, they are probably the most expensive though.
We have yet to master the best wireless internet..................LW & Farmville are inseparable.

Newrver,

I don't know which cellular is best but think it is probably Verizon based on comments ive heard. I can say that AT&T is very poor thru Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas, and Iowa. I love my iPhone but don't like AT&T. Can't wait till verizon gets the Apple/iPhone contract.
