Want to try to extend my cell phone range in some remote areas of Colorado and Texas panhandle. What do you think of Antenna/amplifier by Smooth Talker at $350 vs Wilson Trucker at $220? Thanks.

We use a Wilson Amp for our phones and our broadband card. External Antenna fed in to the amp. From the amp an internal small panel antenna spraying in to the center of the interior. On the panel antenna I have a booster antenna velcro'd and it is connected in to the AC595. Where I got one bar of signal, I now get 4. No more dropped call and disconnects on the internet.

The Wilson line of products have the best reputation in the industry. Given the choice between Wilson and anything else I would always choose a Wilson.

I use the new Wilson "Signal Booster". It velcros to the back of my Motorola Razr. It won't create a connection where there is no service but it definately boosts a marginal 1 bar up to 4 with no problem. Those on the other end say they notice a difference. It also won't change 1X to EVDO on the phones indicator but I
have connected in 1X areas with it where I couldn't without it. I have an OEM MH rooftop antenna so I keep the promotional antenna that came with it in the toad. No experience with that so far. Have no opinion on the Smoothtalker but I can give a to the Wilson.
