Channel Master DVR+

Are these complicated to install on RV televisions?

I've looked at several OTA DVRs and this one seemed the best option since it didn't require a subscription. Also wondering for those that have it, how you like it? Pros and/or cons?

Wish I could tell you. I am looking into this issue myself. I am trying to find out about the Tivo Romeo. I have heard the four hundred dollar version doesn't require a subscription. I am hoping just use the antenna provided with our coach and record programming at some of our stops. My wife will not watch tv with commercials.

I have both, tv roamia and channel master +. From what I have been told and have yet to really test, although I thing true, channel master + will work without internet whereas roamio needs internet. I have channel master in RV and roamio in house.

I purchased a Magnavox HDD DVR from Wal-Mart 3 years ago. It works just like the old style vcr tape units without the tape. Programming is old style with channel, start and stop time programmed just like vcr units. Works great. I can record one show and watch another @ the same time. I believe it was about $300.

We've been using the Channel Master DVR+ for over a year now and love it. No issues at all. Crystal clear OTA DVR.
