I have a the nx605 and the mic plugs in the back of the radio but if it is Bluetooth you just pair it to the radio.

It is Bluetooth but the person on the other end complains about quality of sound.I also have a hard time hearing the caller threw the speakers.

You can turn up the speakers through settings. Hit the top left button that says menu and then hit settings lower left side. Go to audio and you will see were you can adjust the sound. Now on your Bluetooth you may have a cheap one and they sound like you are talking through a tin can. I just use the plug in mic and all is good.
