Connecting Dish King dome to existing cable jacks
I have been trying to connect my Dish King dome satellite system to my Damon Daybreak's existing cable jack. One is located in the storage bin where the electric cables are located and the other is located in the cabin storage bin above the driver's seat. I believe that one is for a roof mounted unit. There is a third jack located in the passenger side front storage bin but I think that one is for use with an outside TV. The only way I have been able to get programming with the dome is to connect the 50-foot coax directly to the receiver, which requires running it through an open window. I have tried numerous connections with the jacks to no avail. There is a switchbox in the RV. It was suggested that I not route the satellite through the switchbox. That did not work either. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Unless your cable coax input is specially equipped with a diplexer on each end, then it will not work with a satellite dish. There is an amplifier/splitter in most cable TV input runs that will block any signal from satellite. The satellite antenna requires a dedicated, direct run to the receiver. Our friends have a 2014 Fleetwood with the same problem. There is only a single cable input and it will not work with satellite. We had to run a dedicated coax for their satellite receiver.

direct is the only way - while others may suggest different routing options with other hardware items, direct is the simplest and easiest method - you can also find somewhere in your unit to run the cable in from the outside - we use a cabling hole in our wet bay that leads into and under the sink area.

I found the inside end of the outside "antenna in" jack behind the the antenna splitter / booster. I took it off the splitter and used a jumper wire to the dish box.
It was easier then installing a new thru the wall jack.
