It works as advertised. We like the service but I suspect other mail box operations also have it.
You will see a picture of the cover and the ability to delete, shred or scan the contents. Scan cost is $1 for the cover and $.50 a page after that. We have only used the scan feature once because most of our stuff is available electronically.
We've been using it for over 3 years with no complaints.

Thanks! Are there better services that you are aware of?

We went with DakotaPost because they had an FMCA discount. They have been very helpful so far and we are currently in the process of registering our vehicles in SD. Next up is a trip to Sioux Falls to obtain our driver's licenses and domicile.

We use this service and it works as advertised. Have been with this outfit since '08 with zero complaints. Just moved to virtual this year. Great service.

I'm not aware of any better nor have I heard complaints of other services. We chose DP because it was easy for us 4 years ago to run up to Sioux Falls SD from Central IL and establish our domicile through them. We also used them to re-register our vehicles in SD. This was part of our move to being FTers and leaving the state of IL. DP's other services were well executed and the cost for them to make these processes to go smoothly were reasonable.

I've been very satisfied with the folks at Americas Mailbox. Along with the mail handling/scanning and vehicle registration work they also have an in house insurance agent. The rates he has gotten me on my previous trailers was better than anything else I found on my own. They also have a campground onsite with a good rate.

Have heard nothing bad about Dakota Post.
We decided to use My Home Address Inc, based out of Emery SD, only because my parents have been using it for quite a while. It's a little cheaper (I think) than DP because they don't offer the scan feature, they will just forward any mail to your location. Vehicle registration help and what not is comparable and we've had no issues in the year or so we've been using them.

We used them for 10 years (at first they were Alternative Resources before they were sold). Great service the whole time we had them.
